I'm thankful for a sweet text from a best friend on Wednesday morning.
I'm thankful for back to school and sports. I think my kids certainly enjoyed their downtime over break but it feels so good to get back to practices and such and lots of fun travel weekends ahead.
I'm thankful my kids challenge me. Consider me SHOCKED when both Kael and Kylee told me they often (Kael- always) take cold showers. I've read up about this and I know how good it's supposed to be for you but I just could not bring myself to try until I found out my kids were doing it and I hadn't even known! So, I tried it. Zero out of five stars, do not recommend. I'm more of a hot tub/sauna person it turns out.
I'm thankful carpool friends, amiright? Getting everyone where they need to go would be daunting without the help of others!
Speaking of relying on the help of others- I'm super thankful my parents and Kent's parents are available to help out with the kids in the busy travel ball months ahead!
