My boys have been looking forward to this week all year! Kent, Kael, Kase, Keith and Cindy went fishing in Canada and they had the best time and caught tons of huge fish. Everyone got a trophy!
They get home later today so I'll hear all the stories then, but sounds like Kase caught the most fish and got the most trophies but Kael was the big winner this year with a 43 inch Northern!!! Couldn't be happier for all of them.
While they were gone Kylee had her senior breakfast at Ashland Ridge- such a sweet tradition!
We also went out for dinner, caught a movie, and just had fun spending time together but she also nannied all day so I had lots of free time to get things done around the house! I also took Kael's girlfriend out for dinner one night and that waws super fun too.
Speaking of house, our new one is coming along so nicely!!!
Four trophies in one day! Don't worry, Grandma Cindy got hers the following day!
One morning I woke up and Kylee was out on the deck at 5:30 AM- she had made muffins and was out reading so this was a big surprise to me as she usually looooooves to sleep. Ha! She was so cute with her jammies inside out and wearing Kae's hoodie.
Hot chocolate (coffee) Kase is one of our favorite versions of Kase.
How pretty is this picture?! Kase out paddleboarding one night.
Kylee took a weekend trip to St. Louis to visit Carter. They caught a Cardinals game and went to the zoo and sounds like they had a great weekend! Meanwhile I was at the lake with my family. Had such a nice, relaxing time! Thankful for my little weekend getaway too!
This is the one. The big one. Kael was just so happy. What a huge fish!!!! I think Grandpa Dean would be proud of all the fishermen in his family.
Cute couple. Kylee takes off for Europe tomorrow! And Kase hits the ground running with camps and all the things so I'm really thankful everyone had such a great first week of summer!
