Weekend Wrap-Up

Kylee's last day of school was Friday! So happy for her.  She's so ready for her next chapter. She has been filling her time with grad parties, tanning, picnics, pickleballing and playing sand volleyball. Honestly we hardly ever see her! She and her friends even took a late night visit to our new house a few nights ago.

These boys of summer are still playing ball.  Not our best season ever but Kase has gained a lot of confidence at the plate and is hitting well.

Besides baseball, Kase filled his weekend with fishing, two trips to the pool and a trip to Adventureland.  He's ready for summer!

Yesterday we spent our afternoon at a pool party with Kent's high school friends. Kase and his buddy Fletcher joined us at the end and Kylee had stopped by earlier too. Fun day!!

Weekend Wrap-Up

 It was a long week around here.  I peeked in the living room Friday when the kids got home from school and this is what I saw- lol. Tired kiddos.

We have been enjoying driving by the new house, walking around and seeing beautiful sunsets out there!

Kael's junior year officially wrapped up and I'm just so proud of him.

Thursday night Kent, Kylee and Kase went fishing at the pond.  They had some luck!

Meanwhile, I was at Kael's girlfriend's graduation at Indian Hills.  Congrats, Emma!

Friday Kael moved home for the summer! It was a whirlwind day of unpacking and it's so good to have him home! Kyee's friend Carter came to visit so we all kicked the weekend off going out to Mexican together. 

Carter brought Kylee the most beautiful flowers.

Saturday Kase had a couple games and played so well. Love seeing him catch!

Kylee and Carter went out to celebrate his birthday. 

And Kase got to pitch the second game and we won! 

Sunday I went to church with Kylee and Carter as Kylee was recognized with the seniors and there was a sweet reception for them.  Meanwhile our boys lost the baseball game so we all ended up home around the same time besides Kael who went to visit Emma. Kent, Kase, Kylee and Carter went golfing and had a blast! Later we enjoyed a big family dinner together then had a lazy night around here.  It was a nice weekend! 

Weekend Wrap-Up

 It was a FULL few days around here!

Thursday Kylee was honored with the Gary Telford scholarship- so proud of her!

Later that night we went out to fish at Big Creek- no fish but the most beautiful sunset!

Friday Kael threw at Wartburg for his last meet of the season and had a great day! Kent, my parents and his parents went to cheer him on while I did a lot of last minute party prep.

Saturday morning we were at the Albaugh Center early to get set up for Kylee's grad party! My niece Brooklyn surprised Kylee with the sweetest picture collage of them!

Sunday morning I woke up to a lovely surprise from the family.  Kylee had painted this cute banner and had encouraged her brothers to also write sweet Mother's Day notes.

Kase woke up and cut me some lilacs and presented them to me in this vase- he was so proud and it was so sweet.

It was a beautiful day so we walked to late service church together then just enjoyed the afternoon here.  Later my family all came over to celebrate my mom! We had a great time sharing memories and our favorite things about Grandma!

We were all dressed in pink for our annual girls' dinner out. 

We headed to Johnny's in Altoona where- surprise!- my aunt, cousins and their daughters were waiting to celebrate with us! My mom was so surprised and happy. It was just the best night and my aunt made it so special with fun games to play and memories to share and all sorts of pink gifts!

It was just the best weekend.  So thankful for family and friends and just so thankful everything went so smoothly. We had a great grad party and were able to pull of a really fun surprise for my mom! Thanks to everyone who had a hand in making our weekend so special!
