I'm thankful for how happy Kael was for Kylee that she got a new vehicle. He was genuinely thrilled for her and was like, "That is the perfect high school girl car for you!"
I'm thankful that Kael had such a great game on Monday. Love seeing him so confident and happy.
I'm thankful Kylee had a good game against Ankeny on Tuesday! They didn't pull off the win but she looked great. So sweet her boyfriend came to watch her too.
I'm thankful that Kael and his friend often come home for lunch. It's fun to catch up with them in the middle of the day.
I'm thankful my parents are off on a little fall getaway! Love seeing their pictures and hearing all their adventures.
I'm thankful for this season of life we are in. It's busy but full in a good way. We are almost never all five together but the kids support each other and show up at each other's events whenever they can. Kent and I usually have to "divide and conquer" nearly every evening. For the past four weeks, Kael has had two football games every week, Kylee has had a volleyball game and a cross country meet and Kase has had two baseball games AND two football games. I'm thankful the kids are enjoying ALL of it and thankful for the family we have who can help us out when we need it. I'm also hugely thankful that Kent makes time to connect with each kid (outside of sports) in the midst of all of it- fishing with Kase, golfing with Kylee and concerts with Kael. We're the luckiest.
I'm thankful for people who take the time to write Kent thank you emails and texts about how much time he puts in coaching football and baseball and commend him on a job well done.
Happy Thursday!!!
