Thankful Thursday

I'm thankful for Kent.  He decided out of the blue the other day to get Kase a new bat and while he was in West Des Moines he also picked up an electric guitar that Kael has been eyeing.  Kent is so fun! And the boys were SO thrilled. Can't wait to hear Kael play! 

I'm thankful for a comment from an acquaintance who I ran into at Hy-Vee the other day.  She asked me if Kylee was keeping busy and I told her yes we had just gotten home from Vegas for volleyball nationals and she's been training with the cross country team. My friend said, "I always tell my boys- you should be more like Kylee! Why aren't you motivated to do stuff like she is? She's always out there running and being active- you should be more like her!" I told Kylee people notice how hard she works!

I'm thankful for some impromptu birthday fun with my nephew and the rest of the cousin gang at Urban Air yesterday! I didn't get a picture of the whole crew but I did get a picture of Kase and his friend.

I'm so thankful for my brother-in-law who is a chiropractor. He has been a lifesaver for Kylee this week!

 I'm thankful for a sweet friend who gave Kylee a "Good Luck in Vegas" gift basket before we left.  Some people are so thoughtful!

I'm thankful that my nephew loves how my house smells.  So cute of him to mention it. 

I'm thankful for a baseball themed pedicure!
