I'm thankful that Kent was finally able to get the sticky toy slug down from our two story entry way. Kase had won it as a prize from the arcade and they were all having fun tossing it around and Kent got it stuck up super high. Ha!
I'm thankful that my dad had a chainsaw Kent could borrow to help his brother the other day with that big tree branch.
I'm thankful for lunch with Kent's family at the Olive Garden last week. It was so great to see his parents and grandparents.
I'm thankful for the bike ride Kylee, Kase and I took last week to the park. Kase and I used to ride allllll the time to "small monkey bar park" when he was little. It's just far enough away to be different than our normal school park and Georgetown but it's not too far that it was a tiring bike ride for him when he was young. Kylee suggested we go there the other day and we had the best time down memory lane! We hadn't been there for quite awhile and Kase kept saying, "Oh yeah, I remember when I used to play on this all the time!" It was really cute.
I'm thankful for a sweet gift from one of Kylee's running friends. They stopped by and surprised her with an awesome running shirt last weekend. People are so thoughtful.
I'm thankful that last week we were only without our luggage for about twelve hours. We had made our connecting flight but the luggage didn't. It arrived early the next morning though and I was so glad! Speaking of luggage, I'm thankful for my new carry on. It's the perfect size and I just love it.
I'm thankful for park stops and ice cream time with friends.
I'm thankful for these sweet girls and time at the pool!
I'm thankful Kase is ok after he swam into the concrete edge at the pool. What am I going to do with him?!
I'm thankful for time with this little buddy. He's been really sweet lately, wanting me to go to the park with him and tell him jokes and play catch with him. He was also really excited about shucking sweet corn the other day.
Have a great weekend, all!
