Weekend Wrap-Up

What a lovely weekend! The weather was cold and rainy but that was the perfect excuse for us to get a few things done around the house and also clock some fun cousin time!

Our house continues to be put back together, little by little.  We are having fun with some new decorative touches.  Kael has been an awesome help to Kent putting things together.

Kylee and Berkley had a mini- (pretend) makeup session after school the other day.

And Friday, Kase was SO excited to come home from school and show me that he had pulled his tooth out!

Later that night we did a sleepover swap with Mandy's kids.  Kylee stayed at their house and Tyson stayed at ours.  Super fun night for the cousins and for me getting to hang out with Mandy for a little while too! Kent and Kael had their own fun and went out for deep dish pizza at Wig and Pen.

We spent the afternoon at SkyZone with almost all of the cousins.  They had a blast together and it was the perfect way to burn off some energy on a rainy day!

Later, Kylee and I spent some time shopping, just the two of us.  She had saved up a bunch of babysitting money and we had the best time together.  She bought a new fuzzy rug for her room, we got her some new clothes, and we spent time doing a little Christmas shopping!

She especially loved the candy and hot cider bar at Treasure House! She said, "Mom we have to do this every year! This is the best day ever!" 

The boys were home watching the Iowa game and when it was done, we all headed to my parents to have dinner and hang out.

Uncle Kent is so fun.  Berkley kept going to him all night- it was so cute.

Sunday was Daylight Savings Time and everyone was up early.  We headed to church then up to Collins for Sunday dinner at Cindy's house.  So good to spend time with the family. Later the boys played outside with friends (brrr!) while Kent and Kylee went to the gym and I cleaned the house.  We spent the rest of the night relaxing and had an early night because of Daylight Savings.  Hope you all had a great weekend.
