Weekend Wrap-Up

 Friday was the first Jag football game of the season! Kylee and her friends were so cute in their senior pants.

Kase and his friends opted to go to the Hawks game since it was home and they could ride their scooters there.  They know lots of south side kids too.  Kent and I enjoyed a date night out while our kids were occupied!

Saturday night Kase went to the Home Run derby with his friends. 

Kylee had a team bonfire. 

Kase got the chance to help out with King (Kevin and Kaity's dog) while they were out of town!

And Grandpa Keith took Kase out and let him practice driving! They had a blast and it sounds like Kase did pretty good!

Kael called and he and his girlfriend were out for dinner in Pella- my cousin's husband and kids were sitting near them and ended up paying Kael and Emma's bill! What a sweet surprise! Thanks Mike!!!

Sunday Kylee had her name mentioned at church in a sermon by her youth pastor.  Super proud of our girl and the way he spoke about her and her faith.

Monday we just got a few things done around the house and took some nice walks in the beautiful weather. Kylee had some homework to do and also had fun crafting with some seashells. Kase had several girls over to bake cookies and a couple of his other friends showed up too. It was certainly an unexpected thing to happen that afternoon but they had a blast! We got home and Kylee had even helped them clean up the kitchen after baking.  Fun afternoon. Later that evening Kylee had cross country practice.
