I have gotten a bit behind with posting because of Kylee's birthday. Here's what we've been up to!
The kids have been having tons of fun around the neighborhood with friends. This backyard rainy afternoon game of 500 was hilarious.
It makes my heart so happy to come out our front door and see the driveway full of kids. These are the days, amiright?
One of Kylee's best friends had a birthday party- how cute are these girls? And they are all such good kids.
We squeezed in one more Adventureland day with my sister, her kids and my mom! We happened to run into one of Kael's friends there too so he hung with him all afternoon and ended up going back to his place for a sleepover!
Kent finally got the new truck he has had his eye on forever!
I had a picnic donut breakfast followed by a game of tennis with these two cuties.
Then a stop at Miracle League park!
Meanwhile, Kael was already on his way to vacation with Keith and Cindy. He rode along early with them to help get everything unloaded.
They made a few fun stops along the way!
Back at home, the rest of us were scoping out a new triathlon course.
After a little discussion over ice cream, Kylee decided she wants to do the Rip Roar Triathlon!
We got home in time for a quick round of golf. They are all getting pretty good!
And Kael was still having tons of fun in Branson! These Go Karts when 40 mph!
Sunday morning we hit the road for vacation! Kase really wanted Pikachu to help navigate.
Our room was ready when we got there so we got all checked in- what a view!
We hit the pool immediately since Kevin, Kaity, Kellen, Kyle and Julia weren't there yet.
Then went mini golfing!
It was such a fun course and Kael had been there several times before we got there and was so proud to show us some "pro tips".
"Hey Mom, take my picture in the back of the bus all by myself!"
Later that night Kaity and Kevin had gifts for the kids to unwrap to reveal the gender of their baby due in January. It's a BOY!!! Love how sweet they were to include my kiddos and make it fun for them to find out.
Oldest and youngest (for now) cousin!
The whole gang went mini golfing.
It was really pretty at night!
Good morning!
Day 2 started with an early morning canoe/kayak/beach visit. How cute are these two, hand in hand?
Uncle Kent had fun with Kellen. The water was so clear and perfect!
Uncle Kyle being the funny uncle here.
Then all the big boys launched the kids! Kase and Kylee especially went flying!!
We stopped by the lazy river for a bit on our way back to the room.
Brothers/look-alikes.
That afternoon, the adults went golfing.
We just had the best time. We played best ball and ended one under par! I was kind of proud of us! Love spending time with this crew.
We had pizza when we got back, then Kent and I took the kids to this ropes course Kylee was dying to try. Kael and Kase were pretty excited too. In the middle there was a cage with crocodiles and a giant python and snapping turtles! So cool!
Kent and I had such a great time sitting there watching them- it was beautiful all lit up too! The kids thought it was super fun.
The next morning we took the Lost Canyon tour on golf carts. So fun going through a cave and by gorgeous waterfalls!
That afternoon we went boating! It was the perfect day for it and the boat and jet ski Keith and Cindy rented were amazing!!
The kids LOVED the slide.
The tube was a bit hit too! It was such a fun day.
How many people can you fit on one tube?!
Kael finally convinced me to let them jump off the top deck. They all loved it so much.
What a highlight of the trip!!!
The next morning we went into Branson and went to the Go Kart track and Kael and Keith had tried.
Kase couldn't do the super fast ones so Grandpa Keith volunteered to do the junior course with him. They had an absolute blast.
Kael won the first race on the fast course!
Kylee had fun too.
We had a great view of both tracks.
Then we headed to Inspiration Tower.
Kael, Kylee and I ziplined off the top!!! What a rush! It really wasn't scary- just a beautiful view!
Kent and Kase did a ropes course and they had a great time too.
Flying high!
While the others rested, Kent and I took a nice long walk then had a pizza party at the pool with the kids.
Kevin, Kaity and Kellen joined us a little bit later! So cute watching her splash around.
Later that night we celebrated Kylee! Grandma Cindy even made her brownies. It was such a great trip and we love spending time together with the family. A big thank you to Keith and Cindy for making it so fun for all of us!
We got home Thursday afternoon, just enough time to get ready for Kylee's birthday! My parents stopped over that night for pizza and gifts for Kylee.
And of course, Grandma's brownies! Are you seeing a trend her?! Kylee loves brownies!
She had fun opening gifts and money wrapped up end to end. Such a cute idea.
