Weekend Wrap-Up

It was another fun weekend! We wrapped up the preschool year with our program on Thursday.  I loved watching my nephew perform! He had a great year.

Meanwhile, Kylee had her field trip to Living History Farms.  Such a fun end of the year trip!

Kael had his last band concert, too! He has decided not to do band next year, so seeing him at this concert was bittersweet.  He does a great job!

Friday night Kael had a soccer game and scored a goal! So fun to watch him play.  Saturday morning we rode bikes to the Ankeny Farmer's Market.  It was a great ride and so much fun to see the Farmer's Market and the AMP grow.   We spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon watching family and friends play soccer/blast ball.

Kent and my dad have also been putting a lot of time in trying to get the office back together after all the water last weekend.

Saturday night we grilled out with friends and had a lovely evening just playing around in the backyard. Kylee spent the night with friends.

Sunday after church we made a quick stop at Fleet Farm for everyone to pick out their favorite bait! We've been doing so much fishing lately and it's just so much fun with the kids.

Later that afternoon the boys went to a family birthday party while Kylee and I went to Julia's wedding shower.  We had the best time! We can't wait for her to (officially) be part of our family!

Of course we had fun snuggling Kellen, too!

We made it home Sunday in time for one more soccer game for Kael, then had a lazy night at home after that.  We're ready for a great week and definitely on the countdown for school to be done!
