Weekend Wrap-up

We finally had a gorgeous weather weekend and we made the most of it!

Friday after school Kylee and I worked on her Fairy Garden.  She's so happy with how it turned out! 

Later that night Kael and Kylee did the Iowa Live Healthy Track Meet.  It's always a fun night!

Meanwhile, Kent took Kase to Monster Jam! He (they) loved it!

Saturday morning Kase had his first baseball game of the season.  It was so fun watching him play! 

Later, Kael had a soccer game.  It got pretty hot out there so Kase took the opportunity to relax in the shade of Grandpa's hat.

Saturday night we celebrated our neighbor's birthday! They always have a fun cinco de mayo themed party and it was a great night for it!

Sunday morning Kent took the big kids to visit Grandma Jenny, who had fallen and broken her wrist last week. Later that day I took the kids to Adventureland! It was so good to be back.  It totally feels like summer now.  

 Kase was so happy to find out he's tall enough to drive by himself on the bumper cars!

We got to do a few rides with friends!

We came home, got cleaned up, and went to my parents' house to celebrate my mom's birthday! We had cake and ice cream with everyone...

...then the girls headed out for our annual Mother/Daughter dinner!

This is one of my favorite traditions. We just have the best time together.

We had a lovely dinner on the patio at Cheesecake Factory.

Then let the girls do a little shopping at Justice!

We wrapped up our evening with a walk around the pond.

It was the best weekend! It's going to be hard to go back to school tomorrow!
