Vacation, Part IV

On March 17 everyone wore green to breakfast!

Kase's eyes closed again!
Then we had another walk on the beach.

This walk was cut a little short though because Kent accidentally stepped on a bee and his foot got stung!

Later the Kids Club had a treasure hunt for all the kids all around the resort. They had fun finding gold chocolate coins and Kylee was the one who found the final treasure chest!

Lunch at Azul with three desserts.  Like, each of us had three desserts.  Yum.

The afternoon show was awesome this day! A sea lion show!

Love this guy so much.

Please take note of the activities director's giant St. Patrick's Day hat.  So awesome.

So cool!

The kids all got to take pictures with the sea lion!

Then we hit up the beach for some sand castle building.  Smoothie in hand, of course!

This was not the one we built but Kase loved looking at it.

This night was one of my very favorite memories of the whole trip.  We got the kids all dressed up for dinner at a fancy restaurant at the resort.

We had decently early reservations since the kids were with us so since the restaurant was relatively empty, I asked if we could have a table with a nice view of the sunset.  They put us at the absolute best table! Right in the middle near the doors so the kids could go out on the balcony!

Kylee captured this shot.  One of my favorites of the whole trip. The sunset, the flowers.  Gorgeous.

My love.

Kase entertained himself by taking pictures of Kylee.

The food was pretty fancy so I was glad the kids found food they liked! They especially loved the mango ice cream for dessert. I was just really proud of them the whole night.  It was a long-ish dinner and they were truly on their best behavior. Kael spoke a little Spanish to the waiter.  We all enjoyed the live guitar music. The waiter kept calling Kylee "princesa", which she loved.  It was such a special night.

Kase really loved his churros y chocolate. Perfect night to be wearing a white shirt. Ha!

After dinner was the fire show on the beach! Kase wanted to take a picture of Kent and me.

The show was amazing!

Kael and his buddies actually got some pretty cool slo-mo videos of the show.

This was one of my favorite days of the whole trip!
