Vacation, Part III

Thursday morning everyone was up early.  We had breakfast at Azul, the restaurant near the beach.

Kael could have sat on these steps for hours watching the waves!

The kids all loved spotting the peacocks around the resort.

After breakfast we took a long family walk on the beach. It was just heaven.

Kase's eyes are closed in so many of the pictures we took there! Bummer!

Too bad Kase is in the shadows here because I LOVE this picture.  That look on Kael's face!!!

Kylee gathered so many shells.

Then we hit the pool for a Patterson pool stack picture!

Kael joined in some beach volleyball (that's him with his back to us, blue swim shirt on).

Kent even joined in Aqua Aerobics!

The older boys needed a break from the sun and joined us for the afternoon kids show. I think the popsicles and picnic blankets with picnic baskets full of snacks helped convince them to come with us!

It was a puppet show of Little Red Riding Hood.

At first Kase wasn't so sure of the big, bad wolf, but in the end he loved it!

Later we enjoyed chips and guac by the pool.  Also smoothies and Shirley Temples all around!

Kent and I had dinner at a fancy restaurant that night.  Kids age 12 and under weren't allowed so they went to Kids Club/Teens Club. Kent had escargot.  Eek.

The food was (almost) too pretty to eat!

I was thankful for the vegan menu at each restaurant.  I'm certainly not vegan but I don't love seafood and meat the way Kent does.  My food was delicious!

We picked the kids up and went to a circus show.  It was great and the kids loved it!

Another day in paradise!
