A special day

I had the loveliest day with Kase yesterday.

It was his Mother's Day Tea program at preschool and he'd made me a beautiful necklace and a sweet flower.  They sang some cute songs that had me tearing up. He colored me a paper and filled out an equally honest and funny paper "All About My Mom".  I so, SO cherish these programs! 

We spent the entire afternoon together playing in the sandbox, planting flowers, and playing soccer.  It was a perfect, sunny day.

It was just a good day all around.  I'd started my morning off with a run with one of my best friends. Kael had a kickball game at school that allowed them an extra recess and also he says he kicked the ball farther than anyone else, so you know.  Day made. Kylee had top secret Mother's Day craft making to do after school. There's not much she loves more. 

We spent the evening with friends and neighbors celebrating one of our littlest buddies turning one! How fun that it was cinco de mayo to boot!
