Thankful Thursday

I'm thankful that our new counters and a new sink are getting installed today! Our house should be officially listed for sale tomorrow morning. 

I'm thankful for someone who turned my purse in after I left it in a cart in the parking lot when I was out grocery shopping last week.  Oh brother, Laura.  Get your pregnant head screwed on straight an stop losing important things! I've lost my cell phone at least 5 times....today.

I'm thankful the Christmas cookie baking has commenced! Kylee and I baked up some cute candy cane cookies and delivered them to a neighbor. I love the holiday season so so much.

I'm thankful the kids liked their glow in the dark baths I surprised them with last night. What a fun idea of how to turn something so routine into something so cool.

I'm thankful our Elf on the Shelf has returned.  Kent is a little creeped out by him, but the kids love having him around.

I'm thankful the kids ate everything in sight  were mostly well-behaved at my dad's office party today.  Crowds of strangers plus an over abundance of sweets often equals very wound up kids, but so many people commented on how good they were.  I was so proud of them!

I'm thankful we were on the receiving end of all the leftover goodies from said party. :)

I'm thankful for a very stylish aquaintance that, upon finding out I was expecting, offered to sort through all of her maternity clothes and bring them to me.  Isn't it inspiring when someone who you thought you weren't that close with goes out of his/her way to do something kind?

I'm thankful people know I'm pregnant.  Have you noticed how many times I've snuck that into this post already? I love telling people and I delight in seeing their "we always knew you'd have more" reaction. 

Short and sweet today...we've been awfully busy around here...and I'm loving every second of it. :)
