Weekend Wrap-Up

 Big week for us around here! Kent had a huge test that he passed so we took the time to celebrate him Thursday night with a quick dinner out.  So proud of him. I got together with my sisters later that night too as we have been trying to hang out for months now it feels like! Great to catch up with them.

Friday was trick or treat and I'm always thankful for Kase's friend's mom who hosts a big party and picks a theme so I don't have to come up with a costume for Kase. The boys had a great time and ended up at another party later. 

Kent and I handed out candy and later Kael came home and Emma came over too! 

Kylee was focused on her race.

Race day was COLD.  Kent and I were the first ones there and it was still dark when we arrived to set up the tent- ha!

And we had a big cheering squad! Kael, Emma, my niece Brooklyn came which was a fun surprise! Also Keith, Cindy, my parents, Kase, Kevin, Kaity, Kellen, Krue and Sean.  So many people love Kylee!!!

We ended up 5th overall and it was Kylee's best race ever at State.  Nearly a full minute faster than last year! So very proud of this girl and this team.

That night Kael and Emma went to the gym where Kael hit another PR on bench! Kylee went to a Halloween party and Kase hung out with his friend. 

Sunday we all enjoyed a much needed day of sleeping in and rest.  After church we did get a few things done around the house and it felt good to get caught up after a very busy week and start to the weekend.  Later Kylee had some of her cross country friends over to sit in the hot tub.  It was a great weekend!
