Weekend Wrap-Up

 Another great summer weekend!

Kael and Emma rode to the High Trestle Bridge- such a beautiful night and they just love riding together! Kylee and Sean were out on a date night this night also.

Kent, Kase and I spent the weekend in Cedar Rapids for State Baseball! You just never know what to expect or hope for especially as we headed into town under some crazy storm conditions!

In the end, we were Runners Up in the gold bracket! We got some redemption on some very tough teams that beat us earlier in the season and Kase just had an amazing tournament.  One game he had a base clearing double! He also pitched so well.  

I'm just so very proud of Kent and Kase and so happy for them.  They truly put in so much time and effort and it's fun to see it pay off in a huge way!

Just love this team so much.  They have a blast together.  We had a lot of fun one night out to dinner and the next night at the hotel lobby playing games. Memorable weekend for sure!! Keith and Cindy came over and spent the weekend cheering on the boys too and they were a huge help getting food for the team, setting up canopies and just having fun hanging around us all!

Meanwhile these two matching besties were at the lake with my parents! They just had the nicest weekend relaxing and enjoying down time.  Big thanks to my parents for having them all weekend!

Kael took a few friends to the pond on Sunday afternoon and his Emma caught some nice ones! They had a great time and again, a big thank you to my parents for helping out with them and also picking them up dinner! 

We're the luckiest.  Just having fun with all our favorite people all summer long.
