We had Edward Jones Summer Regionals this weekend! Kylee and Kael had work and plans with friends all weekend so they stayed home. Kent, Kase and I had a great time! I thought Kase looked so grown up here!
Between meetings and dinners Kase kept himself busy so Kent and I had some nice time together including walking for ice cream one evening!
Kase had a squad of about 4-5 boys he hung out with all weekend. They had a blast and this Riverwalk area was so cool! Thanks Tam for the heads up on it!
We also did the zoo. Getting these three to take a picture turned out to not be worth the effort- ha!
A real highlight for them was that the High School Baseball Championship tournament was going on right by our hotel so they were able to walk there every night to watch games! They caught foul balls, met players and just had an awesome time.
One of the guys even gave Kase this arm sleeve!
One of the days we went fishing and walked around this cute pond. Kylee wasn't with me so her friend Marlee had to stand in as substitute daughter for me that morning- ha! She was so sweet to hang out with.
The boys caught some nice fish!
We also did TopGolf and then later had our theme night trivia. So fun and festive. Can you guess that our theme was Team USA?!
It was a great weekend- I love our region so much and was glad to be back after I had missed a couple summers of getting together with them!
Kylee went to Garrett's baseball game and also to pick flowers at his grandma's house. She also had friends spend the night. went to church with a friend, nannied and had cross country.
Kael had plans to go to a live music thing in The District with his girlfriend but it was raining so they had fun doing other things. They went bike shopping for her and guitar shopping for him and out for lunch and to the arcade. He also worked his new job at Hy-Vee and enjoyed that and also he hung out with his friend. A great weekend for everyone!
