Friday night we celebrated Cindy for her birthday/Mother's Day and her and Keith's 45th anniversary. Such a great night with the fam. We had a fun time at Backpocket!
Meanwhile Kase had been invited to a last minute birthday party so we let him go have fun with his friends. Kylee and Garrett had stopped by for a bit with us then went on to the mall and meanwhile, Kael was at the Conference track meet in Lincoln! He had a great weekend throwing both hammer and discus and even PR'd! I'm SO, so proud of that buddy and so very happy for him.
Saturday and Sunday Kase had baseball. He pitched well and it was an absolutely beautiful weekend for baseball. The team went 3-2 and fell just short of being champions.
Kylee had a busy weekend with grad parties and a late night babysitting and also fitting in a swim workout so imagine my surprise to wake up Sunday morning to see she had left me the nicest Mother's Day note! She's so thoughtful and it was a great start to my day. She spent the day at grad parties then with Garrett at his pool. Kent, Kase and I left town early for baseball. Kael packed himself up and headed home! What a successful first year for him at college. It was so great getting home from baseball to see him and he had unpacked all of his things- so responsible! I'm really excited to have him home for the summer.
We had our annual Mother's Day dinner out on Sunday evening. This is such a special tradition and I'm thankful each year that we can make it work! So proud to call these lovey ladies Mom/sister/daughter/niece!
My girl.
The girls with Grandpa Terry.
Biaggi's!
Cute cousins.
We had such a nice, leisurely dinner!
Meanwhile, the boys went out for dinner and sounds like they had a great time together too.
Brothers! I think Kase will be happy to have Kael home for the summer too.
Right before I had left for dinner Kent surprised me with a very thoughtful gift and was thrilled we had even five minutes with all of us together on Mother's Day so he could tell me about it with everyone present. Man I just love my family so much!
