Weekend Wrap-Up

This has been such a fun summer.  I'm so lucky to get to be home with my kids and spend time doing fun things with them.

Kase had a blast at the ISU camp with some of his best buddies.

Kylee had a fun pool party at her boyfriend's house and she's also been busy with XC and is loving teaching swim lessons!

Got to see my nephew play a few innings on Saturday and enjoyed catching up wtih my look-alikes!

Kase has been runnin' the 'hood with his gang.  Bike rides for ice cream, fishing, wiffle ball...just living his best life really.

We had a tale of two tournament days this weekend.  We played in the HEAT Saturday afternoon and all our boys were just dead tired and low energy.  We lost both.  Showed up Sunday morning ready to PLAY and whooped up on some teams we really wanted to beat and best of all Kase pitched a gem. Super happy for that buddy. We celebrated with pizza and ice cream with the team after the games.

Not a lot of pictures of Kael but he's been keeping busy putting a lot of hours in at work and also at the gym.  When he's home I love hearing him play his guitar and he often heads out for long bike rides with a friend.  We've slowly but surely been getting closer to being ready for him to head to school this fall and I'm so thankful for this summer home with him just being able to hang out with him when he's not at work.  He's super helpful around the house- often doing dishes and mowing the yard and things like that without me even having to ask and he's happy to help me out giving Kase or Kylee a ride somewhere if the need one.  I'm really going to miss this buddy when he takes off this fall but so happy and excited to see what the future holds for him. He's gotten to talk to his roommate a few times recently and I think they've really hit it off.

We had a nice Sunday afternoon watching the CWS, going for a walk and just hanging out at home.  Kael had worked all day then he went to the gym and Kylee hung out with Garrett and Kase swam at a friend's house.

Ready for another fun summer week!
