Weekend Wrap-Up, Thankful Thursday, Vacation (again!) Baseball Nationals....all the things!

Magically, I have access to all my pictures again! However, they are uploading in a totally weird order and I don't have time to go through and fix it, so this is the best I can do for today.

Going way back to a couple weekends ago, here is a picture of his basketball scrimmage!

Monday of Dead Week (the mandated no sports week) the kids and I actually had no plans and I have been wanting to take them to Lost Island Water Park for years and there is never a day they are all free.  So, we went! Even though it was kinda chilly! That didn't bother the kids though. It was a really fun water park! Kase was content to do the wave pool and lazy river and lily pads but the big kids loved all the big water slides.

Wednesday Kent and Kael left for the Ozarks for the Patterson family vacation! Kylee, Kase and I went the next morning because on Thursday Kylee got her braces off! She didn't really want me to post before/after pics but she is happy to have them off and her teeth look great! She looks even more grown up now, if that's possible! Tuesday before we left Kase had a sleepover at his friend Easton's house- he will be a new player on the Crew this year so it was nice the boys got some time together! They also spent the whole day hanging out together the following day.

I'm going to just post a bunch of vacation pictures and make some random comments here and there since they aren't in order.

The cove our house was on was just perfect for floating and swimming! Kent made a genius move renting this Maui Mat for the whole family to enjoy.

The girls!

Boat captain Kent!

We all loved fishing off the dock.

Kylee even squeezed in time to see her boyfriend one morning who was at the Ozarks staying at his aunt's house.

This inflatable slide was a hit!

So were these floaties.

Uncle Kyle gave jet ski rides on afternoon- so fun!

Kael was the best Big Brother/Dock boy all week.  He helped land the boat, tie up ropes, take fish off, put worms on.  What a guy.

No pictures of it but Kyle taught Kael how to drive the jet ski too! Fun!

Brownie and relax time between all the fun!

Lunchtime with the gang.

Team Redhead. Kael really enjoyed talking with Julia and Bo.

Boat rides were fun! Kellen loved big cousin Kase.

We made a stop at the BoatHouse one evening and it was super fun! Got some appetizers and the kids all had fun swimming in the pool.

Strawberry smooties for these cuties!

And this one!

Big Cousin, Little Cousin.

The guys!

Moments before this, Kase fully backflipped right into a lady.  She was on the kid side of the pool (there was an adult side/kid side) but Kase still felt terrible but the lady was so sweet about it.  She laughed, saying she had 10 siblings, most of them brothers, and she joked they would have been doing the same thing!

Can't remember the last time I've seen Kase sit on Kael's lap!

So of course Kael pretended to throw him overboard- ha!

Krue would only go in the water with Kylee. Such a good big cousin.

Kase love, love, LOVES fruit pizza!

Kase doing Kase things.  Eating five pieces of fruit pizza wearing (sort of?) pajamas, mismatched, once we finally tore him away from fishing off the dock.

Dock O'Clock with my guy.

Night fishing was so fun!

We got a big one! Kase was so torn about this- he was really excited to catch one but very anxious for Kent to get it back in the water quickly- he really didn't want it to die!

We had another catfish the next morning too!

And this whopper- ha!

We got Grandpa Keith out on the tube! He and Kael were great!

One night we went into Lake Ozark to the Malted Monkey and got some crazy ice cream shakes and Kase did the ropes course and the big kids went souvenir shopping.

Sunday morning Kent and Kase left early for the USSSA All- State National baseball tournament to play for and coach Team Iowa!

Kylee, Kael and I got home Sunday afternoon (after a slight delay because my car wouldn't start) then unpacked and Kael and I went for a walk.  Love this buddy.

Kael was home in time to get to shoot the football Hype video! Here are a few behind the scenes shots.

Meanwhile, Kent and Kase were having fun in Tennessee! They really enjoyed all the kids and families on the team, especially the Scrappers guys.

Go, Kase!

Kase hit a HOME RUN!!!! Right over Centerfield fence. So, so proud of him.  I was really thankful to be able to be watching on Game Changer so I got to see it! Kase has worked so hard all season and I am just thrilled for him that he got one over.  This also sparked a big comeback and his team went on to win that game!

Meanwhile, back home I was helping out with the Watermelon Feed with the football guys!

Kylee made Kase the sweetest sign and was so helpful making food for the guys for when they got home.  Kael was a huge help mowing the lawn and getting the house ready for the guys to get home too!

Kael took Kase fishing while Kent and I unpacked- so sweet of Kael to do that and they even got one!

Ok, back to some vacation pictures I gues!

Noodle fights!

This just melts my heart.

Fishing with Grandma.

Whew! Ok that was a lot- thanks for hanging in there with me!

Wanted to also say I'm hugely thankful for my dad and also Keith for coming over to help me out while Kent was gone and my car battery died. My dad and I worked and worked (Ok, well mostly he worked and I handed him tools and YouTubed ideas) to get the battery changed and Keith came over to help us get the new one in.  I would have hated for Kent to have that to deal with when he got home from Tennessee so I was so glad they could help me!

Also wanted to say that Kent and Kase just had the best experience in Tennessee for baseball. What an honor that Kase got asked to play and that Kent got asked to coach.  The dads who helped him coach and do lineups were just awesome and Kase made some really great friends too. Since they've been home, Kent has received several messages from parents saying how impressed they were with him as a coach and what a great job he did with the boys.  I'm so proud of both my baseball guys!!!
