Weekend Wrap-Up

It's been a rainy week around here but our people and their friends don't let that stop them! Kylee has had a fun couple weeks off volleyball- enjoying getting to hang out with her amigas a little more. 

Kase and Asher continue to have all the fun (and ice cream) together.  

Friday we finally got to visit Kael at work! You guys I am just so proud of this kid and love him so much.  He was happy to come out and talk with us and seemed glad we were there to see him.  

Everyone liked their food and we enjoyed playing shuffleboard on the patio while we waited for our meal!

Saturday Kael got in some tubing with his friends! Kylee hung out with her friend too- they baked cookies and painted. 

Meanwhile, we were at a tournament in Norwalk.  We went 2-1 on the day and had a lot of fun.

Kase pitched SO well.

That evening his buddy came over and they rediscovered some of Kase's old toys and had so much fun together.  Fun seeing them do something besides a sport or FortNite!

Sunday we went to a graveside service for Grandma Doe.  It was such a nice service and so good to see the family and share memories. We had lunch together then headed home.  

Kase played in the sprinkler at a friend's house and Kylee and a friend walked for ice cream.  Kael went to the gym then had work. Later some baseball friends and families came over and we chatted around the firepit and did s'mores.  The boys had  fun playing in the backyard.  Meanwhile my parents visited Kael at work! He was happy to see them and also he got off early that night which was nice having him home before we went to bed!
