Weekend Wrap-Up

Team Patterson is sliding into the weekend tired and happy.

Did you know a fun game you can play on the tramploline is, "Pretend you're robbing home runs"? Kent and Kase played this until dark the other night.

Kase and company had their first lemonade stand of the season and we had a visit from Aunt Julia!

Friday night we had such a nice night.  The threat of possible rain canceled some golf plans for Kent so we ended up being home with no plans (besides Kael, who had a sleepover).  A couple of Kase's buddies and one of Kylee's friends stopped by and ended up staying for pizza. Some neighbor friends were out for a walk and stopped by to chat baseball for awhile too.  Fun night.

Saturday the Crew were in action in Prairie City! Kylee was a trooper and came along all day.  Kael was home because he worked that night but while he waited for his shift he went to the gym and mowed the lawn for us! Awesome, Kael!

All in all, it was a great weekend for Kase and his team.  Kase pitched a couple times and did great.  He had some big hits and we got a couple wins.  Saturday night we had a pool party with some teammates then back to the fields Sunday.

Sunday morning Kael worked then in the afternoon we had his choir concert.  So proud of him! He just looks so grown up and handsome.

Kase spent the afternoon playing with friends and Kylee just relaxed.  Later Kent and I went for a long walk- Kylee joined for part of it then finished with a run.  Some friends stopped by for our weekly Sunday night baseball debriefing which we all love.  Then Kent and Kael went to his track banquet. So proud of this buddy!

Kylee and Kase played some backyard kickball while I made dinner and we had a nice, relaxing family night.  Hope you all had a great weekend!
