Weekendd Wrap-Up

What a great weekend!! Here is a picture from last week- Kase canNOT get enough of shooting baskets right now so Kent and Kael bundled up (well, Kent did but Kael still stuck with shorts) and went out to play with him.

Here are a couple of cuties twinning on the way to school last week.  Seriously how funny?! Matching coats and almost matching hats.  Purely coincidental!

Friday night we went out for dinner at Portofinos- always a fave.  Then we came home and watched a Christmas movie together- it was such a nice night.

Saturday was Christmas at my dad and mom's. We had the best day!

My favorite look-alikes.

Plus Kase.  Ha! He really wanted to hop in the sisters pic.

Cute cousins.  Above and below.

The whole gang!

The oldest and the youngest cousin.

We started the day off with a big breakfast then the kids all ran around downstairs together- so excited to see each other.  Then the cousins all opened their gifts from each other.  They were so happy and proud to give their gifts! We spent the rest of the morning opening gifts- the kids are all at such fun ages.

This was a highlight for Kylee!

Kase was thrilled with all his Hawkeye things.

The kids all enjoyed playing with their gifts.

These two have the sweetest bond.

This sign is so perfect for my dad!!! Puts such a smile on my face.

Cozy in his new Chiefs blanket.

Here are a few more pictures from my mom's phone.

Sweet Kylee painted gifts for all the cousins and Grandma and Grandpa.  She is so talented and thoughtful!

We played some new games, the kids played outside in the snow, and we enjoyed time to just catch up.  It really was a great day!

Sunday morning Kase had two basketball games.  His team won both and he played well.  This was the first time they had all 8 kids be able to come to a game and they played really well together.

Kael and Kylee couldn't come to the games because they only allow two people per player to watch, but when I got home they had done the laundry and dishes- so awesome!

That afternoon Kael helped Kent run a couple errands, we watched the Vikings then Kent and I went for a walk.  Later Kent, Kase and some buddies went bowling! Kylee hung out with a friend and I worked on my new puzzle.

Later Kylee had volleyball practice and the rest of us had a cozy night in!
