I'm thankful for Kylee's help with our elf. Kase was so excited to wake up and find him ziplining in the kitchen! Later that day several of Kase's friends stopped by to see because he had told them about it at school and was so excited.
I'm thankful that Kent is so fun. Right now the boys are into WWE and Kent knew they were coming to Des Moines so he surprised them with tickets. We pretended we were going downtown to look at Christmas lights but they were soooo excited when they opened some wrestling figures and there were tickets on the back of the package! Kylee was a good sport and went along even though she isn't super into it. They all had a great time!
I'm thankful for a sweet text from a friend. Kase had gone inside her house to play with her son for a bit and she commented on how polite and complimentary Kase was the whole time he was there. I was so proud of him and so thankful she took time to send me a message letting me know.
I'm thankful for our preschool staff Christmas party. I'm so lucky to have such a great group of women to work with.
I'm thankful Kael ended up in the vocal group he wanted. He has been Tenor 1 but really was hoping to be in Tenor 2. He just told me yesterday he got moved to the group he wanted! I just love when things go right for that kid.
I'm thankful to have this week off school so I can finish up all the Christmas things! I'm pretty well done with shopping, wrapping, cleaning, and grocery shopping. Now it's time to just enjoy the season!
