It's been an interesting few days around here!
Kase keeps being outside as much as possible. Shooting baskets until the very last sliver of light is gone.
He keeps life interesting by wearing two different shoes as often as I'll let him.
And even though we were at the doctor's office, I had a really fun morning with him last week. We saw the ENT and he also had a scan of his sinuses so we were at the appointment for a really long time. I just enjoyed hanging out with him and talking to him then getting lunch together afterwards.
Kylee's been back in the swing of things with volleyball. She loves her team!
Kael has had some fun at school, getting to participate in the pie to a teacher's face activity! (Thankful for Kaity who can take pictures of moments like this and send them to me!)
Friday in the middle of the night Kase got sick. He threw up a lot and slept terribly, poor buddy. So I kept him home from school and he had to postpone plans with friends that night.
Kylee still got to have her friends over (since it had been almost 24 hours since Kase had gotten sick) for a kick off to Christmas Break party. What a sweet, fun group of girls.
They decorated cookies.
And couldn't believe I let them make a mess with the frosting!
Then they did a gift exchange. They were all so appreciative of the gifts!
Then they wanted a full photo shoot.
I just love this crew. We had pizza and did another round of the gift exchange game.
Later they played volleyball in the basement then had hot cocoa.
It was a great night and I'm so happy for Kylee to have the friends she does.
Saturday we got to go to Collins for Patterson Christmas!
The kids all had so much fun and got some great gifts.
Later we did a scavenger hunt around town- so fun! We were glad it was so nice out too!
Kase got a few pointers from Uncle Kevin.
Then we took a bunch of pictures since it is going to be Keith and Cindy's last Christmas in that house!
We had some more fun games to play. This "find the candies in the whipped cream using only your mouth" game was a total hoot!
Kylee won her round!
The cousins all had fun together and Kase got super excited about these scratch off tickets.
It was such a fun day with the family. We came home happy and tired.
Later that night it was Kael's turn and my turn to get the stomach bug. Yuck. I was up most of the night and Kael wasn't doing too hot either. By the end of the day Kylee wasn't feeling great. Thankful we had a nice lazy Sunday and hoping everyone is on the mend soon and feeling great by Christmas!
