Weekend Wrap-Up

It's been a busy few days around here! Thursday night Kent took Kase to see Santa at the library.  I'm so glad I still have one little (ish) one who enjoys these traditions! Meanwhile Kylee and I finished up some shopping and Kael went to watch his friends' basketball game.

Friday was our preschool Christmas program and it's one of my favorite preschool days of the whole year.  The kids did such a great job and we have so much fun talking with the families afterwards.  Kent knows it's a busy day for me and had the most beautiful flowers waiting for me when I got home!

That night Kent and I had dinner plans with neighbor friends, Kylee had a youth group movie night, Kael had a sleepover at a friend's and Kase had a babysitter which he was SO excited about! A win for everyone.

Before we all headed out in our different directions we had fun just goofing around and playing board games.

Saturday morning Kase had two basketball games and made the game ending shot! He played so tough and really seems to be having fun playing this season.  We spent the rest of the day just hanging out and later that night Kent and I went out with Kevin, Kaity, Kyle and Julia while the kids all hung out together with Keith and Cindy too. We all had a great time.

The next morning our elf brought a gingerbread kit!

After church we had fun decorating.  It's so fun that the kids are all independent enough to decorate on their own!

Later that afternoon my parents stopped by, then one of Kylee's friends came over.  We also played a lot of garage ping pong then went to the gym and finally to a movie.  I'm so excited that Christmas break has started for me and I can't wait for the kids to be done with school too.
