It's beginning to look and feel a lot like Christmas around here!
Thursday night, Kael had his band concert. He did a great job and just seems so grown up lately.
Kylee enjoyed dressing up for the event.
Friday night we laid pretty low around here. After school I did take the kids to Toys R Us to look around for Christmas ideas. That was so fun! Kael and Kase especially loved looking at all the Nerf guns there. Later that evening, Kael had basketball practice and other than that we just hung around here.
Saturday morning Kent worked for a few hours and I got a few things done around home. Later Kael had a basketball game.
We came home and decorated the gingerbread village that our elf had brought us that morning!
Sunday morning we woke up to snow! The first snowfall is always so magical. The kids were so excited, so we went out and played in the snow and built a snowman before church. Lucky we did because by the end of the day, the snow had almost melted away!
Sunday afternoon we spent celebrating an early Christmas with my mom's side of the family. So fun to see all of the extended family and cousins together.
And we had a fun time looking at old pictures! Oh the memories.
Sunday evening we went to the Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith concert. What a special night with my mom and sisters. The concert was absolutely amazing! Definitely a night to remember.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, too!
