Thankful Thursday

I'm thankful for a husband who cares enough about this blog to remind me that, "It's Thursday, you know, Laura." As in, "I was hoping to read a Thankful Thursday post today."

I'm thankful for the amazing week we have had so far (Adventureland, Zoo, Despicable Me 2, pizza party with family, a trip to Sheffield, sparklers with neighbors and watching fireworks off the deck). Stories and pictures to come. Promise.

I am thankful for even more fun ahead. Kids are seriously looking forward to the pool party tomorrow! 

I'm thankful for the fireworks I hear popping outside my window. I love the Fourth of July! 

I am really thankful the aforementioned fireworks aren't waking my sleepy kids. :)

I am thankful for the smell of sparklers. It just brings back so many great childhood memories!

I am really thankful Kent had taken a few days off work which is so uncharacteristic of him.  But it has been awesome getting to enjoy lots of time with him doing fun stuff with the kids!

I am thankful for knowing the right people. Kent scored some great tickets to see the Cardinals play in a few weeks. St. Louis, here we come?!?!

I am thankful I have been able to stay awake long enough to write this without falling asleep and bonking my head on my phone. :)
