Monday I called my mom early to see if she would be up for a trip to Adventureland with my and the kids. She was! Kent had to work and I know as soon as my sister's baby is born (Come on, Baby Simms! Get here!) my mom will be helping out with the babe so I thought I'd better take full advantage of Grandma time while I'm not babysitting this week.
The day was, in a word, perfect. We were there as soon as it opened and stayed until after it closed. Really. They had to kick us off the Falling Star at about 9:05. :) The weather was awesome and my dad even joined us later in the day! Kase took a couple naps in the stroller and was otherwise thrilled to be riding rides like a big kid.
42 inches is like the magic, "you can ride anything" height and Kylee checks in at about 45 inches so she was set! It was so fun watching her ride the Dragon and Tornado with Kael. They love roller coasters!
What a great day! We're hoping to go back later this summer so Kent can go with us.
