Kase is asleep so I'm going to try and hurry to get this posted before he wakes. In other words, I apologize that the pictures are in no particular order and some of them are a bit grainy from the ol' iPhone. But you guys, it was SUCH a fun weekend! A zoo field trip, a baby shower, a fun afternoon in Collins, Mother's Day, a belated birthday celebration, a little fishing...check it out!

Kase will not waste a single bite of macaroni. |

Tammy's baby shower day! I'm sure she'll write more about it and post more pictures on her blog, so I'll link up when she does. But it was such a fun day! Love hanging out with my sisters and Mom and can't wait for Tam to join the "Mom" club! |

A picture of all the cousins that came to the shower. Kylee was so excited to get fancy for the shower that she even wore blue eye shadow because, "The baby's going to be a boy, you know." |

I have been trying since Kase's birthday to get a picture of Kase and Kael standing next to each other. I have visions of taking a picture of them side by side every year on their birthdays to see how much Kase catches up to Kael. :) Kael wasn't excited about the photo and Kase kept running away. Finally when Kase stood still for a second, I said to Kael, "Quick! Stand just like Kase is!" So he did. Hilarious. |

They can't wait to meet their new cousin! |

The older three cousins sit so nicely... |

Is this how your Mother's Day pictures looked? :) |

Kase was loving the cake. Sidenote- how tan is he already?! Come on! |

We celebrated Mother's Day/belated birthday for my Mom at Wig and Pen on Sunday. We had called ahead to reserve the room which meant we could shut the doors and let the kids run crazy. It was AWESOME! Plus, Mandy had called ahead to order the pizza so we didn't have to wait to eat. We had such a nice time. |
|
Kind of wish I would have known that Mandy hid in this picture. I inadvertently photo bombed this Grandma/grandkids picture. :) |

Whew! Success! Kase is still asleep. I feel so blessed- what an amazing Mother's Day weekend. Kent and the kids made my day so special. They gave me the sweetest cards and most thoughtful gift (a basket of my favorite things). Kent set a crazy high standard of taking care of the kids- he fed Kase at Wig and Pen then took him for a walk so I could enjoy my meal and chat with my family, he changed all of Kase's diapers for the day, he let me pick every.single.thing we did that day (family rollerblading, fishing, planting the garden...). I hope that I can treat him as well on Father's Day as he did me on Mother's Day. Kylee also wanted to spoil me- she wouldn't let me carry a single thing all day.
"Mom, come on! It's Mother's Day! You don't have to carry that. Let me get it!" I am one lucky gal.
