Weekend Wrap-Up

 Another fun-filled April weekend!

Kael got the Spirit of the Jaguar award and was recognized at a really nice ceremony last week.  The principal talked about how this is such a prestigious award and I'm just so very proud of Kael for working hard and being a good kid. Special moment and so happy that so many of us could be there to see him get his award.

One of his best friends got the award too!

Here are a few pictures from Kase's birthday- luckily we squeezed in a few minutes before school for him to open gifts! He was so happy.

Loved his baseball donuts.

And really loved his new electric scooter!!!

That night Kase had a tryout and he and Kent had a great time road tripping to Cedar Rapids for it.

Friday he had his birthday party at the Prairie Trail Sports Complex and it was a blast! Local friends and family I can't recommend this place enough.  The boys had fun playing kickball, wiffle ball, football and speedball.  They got along great and I was happy that Kent was there to help pick teams and be the umpire when necessary.

When we got in the truck after the party Kase said, "I'm just so happy! That was the most fun birthday party ever! I love you guys, thank you so much!"

Great group of boys and they gifted Kase some pretty awesome presents. Meanwhile Kylee was at a baseball thing with her friends to all watch their boyfriends then they went out for ice cream.  Kael stopped out at Kase's party for awhile which all the boys loved!

Saturday Kael worked and Kylee had brunch plans with friends then spent the afternoon with a friend baking and hanging out.  Kase's team played a one day tournament and won the whole thing!! We only had 9 guys and played 3 in a row so it was a pretty impressive day for the Crew.  They were happy to come home with rings!

Grandpa Keith helping Kase with his gear.

Kase looked pretty great behind the plate! He said he loved catching.

Happy guys.

We came home, thankful for our hot tub to warm up in. Everyone just kind of relaxed for awhile then Kase was playing with friends and Kylee got home so we decided to all go to the Creamery to celebrate the win with ice cream. Kase had his friend stay overnight too.

Sunday after church the boys were begging to go to Velocity to do the HitTrax so Kent took them there for a bit.  Then they went to my parents backyard to look for mushrooms and they found a few!

That afternoon I took Kylee and a friend to another friend's grad party. Then I dropped her off at Garrett's baseball game and then later she had volleyball.  Kent and Kael got a few projects done around the house while I was gone and Kase kept on playing with friends so he was happy.

Ready for another fun, full week!
