Weekend Wrap-Up

 Friday night Kylee had HP tryouts with a bunch of friends.  Kase hung out with a buddy, Kael went into work to watch some basketball games and chat with his friends and Kent met up with his friend for a quick happy hour.  Nice low-key night.

Kase and his buddy thought they were pretty cool playing on the trampoline with this giant box that had blown into our yard. Why is a box ALWAYS so fun for kids to play with?! Ha.  Love it.

Saturday morning Kylee had volleyball at the new RecPlex- what a cool, huge facility! Super proud of these girls coming together at the right time and not dropping a set! 3-0 on the day!

And fun to play against friends too.

Kael had taken Kase out for donuts that morning then Kase rode along with Keith, Cindy, Kellen and Krue to cheer Kylee on for a bit (ok, well, honestly he just played football in the corner of the gym but at least he was there...) then Kael had track then work.  Kase went to Miracle League with some buddies to play baseball for several hours and had a blast.  We got home in time for Kylee to scoot off to a friend's birthday party. Later that night Kase's buddies came over and we had a fun, chill night here- pizza/hot tub/watching basketball/having ice cream.  Kael hung out with us for awhile then went to the Operating Room with a friend.

Sunday morning we all went to volleyball besides Kael who stayed home and went to church.  Kylee's team went 2-1 on the day and ended up 5th overall which was awesome for such a huge regional tournament!

Kent left after the second match with Kase so he could have time to get home to take Kael to get fitted for a tux for upcoming Prom.  They had fun and ultimately made a great pick I think!

So grown up and handsome.

Sunday afternoon Kael had lifting then work, Kylee was super tired from volleyball so she just chilled and Kent and Kase had baseball. Later Kent and I went to his office to finish hanging a few things on the walls- his remodel is almost done and it looks so great! I'm super happy for him.  Then we had a nice, cozy night at home.  Ready for a fun, busy week!
