Weekend Wrap-Up

Fun weekend around here!

Thursday night I had Book Club and while I was gone this cutie drew me a few pictures.  It is so rare that he wants to sit down and do anything holding a pencil so Kent documented it for me.  Meanwhile,

Friday night Kent and I had plans to go out for dinner with a few parents from Kylee's old volleyball team.  Kael took Kase to Pizza Ranch- love when those two get to hang out because it doesn't happen very often! Kylee was hanging out with her friend.

Saturday morning we went to Kylee's volleyball tournament- so fun having one in town! Throughout the course of the day she had 17 people there watching her! How cool is that?!

She had a bunch of friends playing there too- they split their match when they played against each other which was great- I think either team would have been very disappointed to be blown out!

Garrett came to watch the whole day which was so sweet of him.  I enjoyed getting to chat with him during games. And he got to meet alllll the family.

Kylee and Emma- they don't play for the same team but they have been good friends forever!

Second place overall!

Kael and Kase had even gotten to come watch Kylee play (well, Kase mostly played basketball on the other court with the other little brothers of Kylee's team) but then Kael left to go to work and Kase had a birthday party.

These speed demons had a great time racing go karts!

The weather was crazy that night but once the storms all blew over, Kent and Kael went to a movie and Kylee, Kase and I went to watch Brooklyn play some volleyball- she did great! Kase's friend Kendall was also playing and it was fun to see her too.

Sunday after church Kael went to a throwing camp in Iowa City with a friend and the rest of us went to my parents' house for Berkley's birthday party!

Love this crazy crew.

Later Kent and Kase had baseball, Garrett came over to hang out with Kylee and then she had volleyball. We had a nice afternoon/evening here watching Hawkeye basketball! I played a little (very chilly) basketball with Kase in the driveway too.

Have a great week!
