I'm thankful that Kylee cares so much. She was in tears the other night because she felt so bad the kids had been arguing because she knows how much it upsets me. She has such a big heart.
I'm thankful Kael and Kase have a shared interest in Pokémon. They play sometimes "Guess which Pokémon I'm thinking of" and give each other clues. They're lucky to have each other. I'm also thankful for Kael's memory and interest in lists. He always knows the top 10 songs on the charts, so, so many sports stats and whenever Kase asks a question about stuff like that Kael always knows the answer.
I'm thankful for a sweet stop by from my sister and her kids for Kael's birthday! They even sang to him!
I was thankful that Sweet Swirls opened to let us pick up Kael's cake. I ordered a week or so ago and asked to pick it up on Monday, which they said was fine but when I got there the sign said closed Mondays! I called, emailed, and finally got through to someone and he came in and opened the store to get Kael his cake. Kael says it was the best birthday cake ever so I'm glad we got it!
I'm thankful for how Kase surprises me sometimes. Ok, a lot. He asked for a tie-dye shirt out of the blue the other day so the Easter bunny brought him a tie dye kit. I was so surprised and how into it he was.
I'm thankful that Kylee wanted to participate with him- she has done several tie dye projects at school and with friends so she was a wealth of knowledge and super helpful!
I'm thankful for a place to walk around outside that's out of the wind! My parents' backyard has been a fun place to visit during this quarantine!
Look at this fun stick tunnel!
Kylee had fun looking for deer bones and heads.
I'm thankful for dinner delivery and other surprises from Cindy! So fun having her in town. She even dropped off a canvas for Kylee to paint!
I'm thankful that Kael said it was one of his best birthdays ever. I just love that. Maybe this quarantine isn't so bad after all.
