Weekend Wrap-Up

We had a wonderful Easter weekend!

Friday night Kylee was at a birthday party so the boys and I went to my parents' house.  Kael had fun with the bonfire.

Kase had fun in this awesome tepee my dad built! We enjoyed being outside and getting some fresh air!

Then went out for burgers and malts. It was a great Friday night!

Saturday morning we headed to Ottumwa to visit Kent's brother and family. The kids had so much fun seeing their cousin Kellen!

And of course, a super fun Easter egg hunt from Grandma Cindy!

We had lunch at Happy Joe's where the kids loved spending their quarters on the arcade and train! Then, ice cream at Graham's!

Kase with his new Lego set.

Sunday morning Kylee was up first.  She waited so patiently for the boys to wake up and as soon as they got up, she had a scavenger hunt for all of us in her room! She had clues hidden in eggs all over that ended in her closet with these cups filled with treats personalized for each of us.  She is just so thoughtful and I am so thankful for such a sweet daughter like her.  She makes all the holidays so special!

Then the kids ran downstairs to find their treats from the Easter bunny!

All dressed up for Easter church.
After church we headed to Sheffield.  Kase had fun playing in the safari room at my Grandpa Dean's!

We had a nice meal then did our traditional egg cracking contest!

Kylee won two rounds in a row with the same egg!

It was such a great weekend filled with some great quality family time.  We spent Sunday evening just relaxing around the house and the kids played with all their new things.  We had one more fun surprise- my parents stopped by with Easter treats for the kids! They were so excited!

We've got a busy week ahead and it looks like the weather isn't going to warm up too much.  We are certainly ready for spring around here!
