Kylee's Christmas Program

There are few things more entertaining then attending a 4 year old preschool Christmas program.  This year's event did not disappoint.  Kylee was so excited right away when she got up this morning.  She got all dressed up and even wanted me to curl her hair (which is usually not the case). She wanted me to call my mom and find out if my grandma would be coming to watch the performance today. (She did). She knew it was her special day.

Kylee had been practicing her songs around home so we were anxious to hear her whole class sing them with her.  She did a fantastic job- she knew all the song words and actions and stood up there smiling so brightly while others around her stood frozen and crying. I could hear her above everyone else and thought maybe it was just because I was trying to pick out her voice.  Later, a friend who had been sitting across the room confirmed, "I sure could hear Kylee!" :)

Belting out Jingle Bells.

Later we went out for lunch with my mom, grandma, sister and niece.  Afterwards, Kylee and I went back to my mom's to bake Christmas cookies.  Such a fun and special girls day- one that I will surely remember forever.
