Weekend Wrap-Up, Easter Edition!

It's been a wonderful few days!

Kylee had a home track meet on Thursday and it was such a nice night out.  Lots of family and friends came out to support her and she even won her race!

Friday, Kase came home from school so happy- he was Main Event this week! So proud of how hard he worked, especially during ISASP week.  We celebrated with ice cream!

We had a lovely Friday and Saturday with minimal plans.  Kael worked and Kylee went to her boyfriend's baseball games. We got to see one of my nephew's baseball games then Kase spent the afternoon playing around the 'hood with his friends. Later Kael hung out with a friend and watched a movie. Kent and I got to go on a long walk and enjoyed a rare, relaxing day.  He also spent some time following friends' baseball teams on Game Changer!

Sunday we were all under the same roof for Easter for the first time in several years! The kids did an egg hunt and found their Easter baskets but I will say that I think we are on the tail end (or maybe even the last year) of having the Easter bunny visit our house.

We got ready for church- so proud of my little family.  It was a really lovely service and I'm always glad when we can make it to church together!

We spent the rest of the afternoon celebrating both Easter and the April birthdays with my side of the family!

Grandma had some great snacks set out- Kylee loved this bunny appetizer!

Brothers!

April birthday kids.

The girls.

Kael had this super fun basket of "Things You Can Do Now That You're 18" with corresponding gifts and even a Congrats on Adulting trophy! So creative and I loved seeing him smile as he opened each one.  He also really enjoyed the Who Knows Kael/Kase/Brooklyn/Laura trivia game we played.

Kase got...wait for it...tennis shoes! And he couldn't have been happier.  Seriously his favorite gift.

The grandkids also all got Clear Lake beach towels to use at the condo all summer!

Kael and Tyson had fun playing chess together.

The whole gang before our annual Egg Cracking contest! Justin was crowned winner this year!

Time for cake! We all loved these little bundt cakes- maybe Kase most of all! Love, love LOVE that we were able to get everyone together to celebrate. Such a special day.

Fam.

Silly sisters.

The cousins in age order! They had a fun Easter egg hunt!

But some of the most fun is when they get to trade their treats!

My guy.

Me and the bigs.  Kylee enjoyed taking some of the crew on a ride in her Blazer!

I'm so thankful for time spent together and thankful for all my dad and mom do to make family celebrations so special.  The day wasn't complete without a wiffle ball game and we all enjoyed being outside in the beautiful weather. Hope you all had a wonderful Easter!

We spent the rest of our evening with Kael at work, Kylee and I stopping by to see Grandpa Keith and Grandma Cindy, the boys hanging out and playing outside, Kent and I were able to fit in another walk then Kylee's boyfriend came over for a bit.  A nice end to our weekend!
