Weekend Wrap-Up

Lots of fun stuff going the last few days. 

Kael threw at Districts- super hot, windy day and not the outcome he was hoping for but I was so happy both my parents and Kent's parents and me and Kent were able to be there to support him. 

Kael also got to cheer on his good friend Gabe running the 3200.

Kase had a football game Friday night and in an effort to save his arm for baseball, we asked that he not QB this weekend.  I think he had fun and even got a pick!

Saturday we had our first AAA tournament and the boys came out hot and scored 12 runs in the first inning!!

We were 1-1 on the day.  So proud of this Crew.

Meanwhile, Kael was at work and Kylee went to watch her friend Will play baseball at Miracle League. She ran into a few other friends there too!

And Mr. Lynam! He is Kase's teacher now but he taught Kylee in 5th grade. Loved getting this picture from them.

Saturday we had a nice afternoon just hanging around the house- grilled out and played KanJam with the boys then Cindy called and asked if we wanted to stop by so we went over for a little bit and had fun seeing the cousins! Then we took the boys to the movie Bad Guys- it was really funny.

Kylee was at Garrett's games all afternoon- they won both AND Garrett hit a home run over the fence! So fun that Kylee was there to see it. 

Back to baseball on Sunday- we had an early game against the #1 seed and fell short.  These boys definitely belong in AAA though and I'm so proud of their efforts this weekend!

While it was a bummer that Kase's team lost, it was great that we were all able to go watch Kael's final choir concert of the year! He looked so great up there.

We spent the rest of the day getting a few things done around the house, taking a walk, Kent and Kase went to Game Ready, Kael had a football workout and Kylee had volleyball.  Also Kase hung out with his friend and Kylee took them both on a bike ride to Orange Leaf.  Later Kael had the last of his senior pictures on the football field and Kent went along with him to that.  They went great! We wrapped up the night with Kael taking a bike ride with his friend and Kent and Kase and I playing some baseball and just hanging out in the backyard.  What a great weekend!
