We are sad to see Spring Break end, but it always feels good to get back into a routine. Here's how we spent our last couple days of break.
Kent and Kael had the BEST time at Slipknot. Love that these two have each other to enjoy stuff like this with!
Kylee had fun with friends- she had a sleepover at Mylee's and also hung out with her boyfriend a couple times over the weekend.
Kase went bowling with a friend Friday and then also over to play at that friend's house most of the day Saturday. It's a friend he doesn't play with often and doesn't live around here so I think he had fun getting out of our 'hood and mixing it up a bit.
Saturday night Kase spotted some of Kylee's guy friends at the park and I happened to know these guys fairly well and know they like to play with Kase (Kylee wasn't home) so I encouraged Kase to go say hi to them. Within minutes they were all over at our house jumping on the trampoline then playing pick up basketball. I love this group of kids and love how they include Kase even when Kylee isn't around! Of course, Kylee and Mylee found out all the guys were hanging out at our house so they came back over for a little while too.
Kael had his buddy stay over Saturday night and we spent the rest of the weekend watching basketball and he keeps our brackets updated for us. He also volunteered at Thrive with the track team and then worked on Sunday night.
We had an impromptu get together at Keith and Cindy's for Sunday afternoon for a bit and later Kylee had volleyball. The rest of the day we spent enjoying the beautiful weather.
Back to reality tomorrow. Hope you all had a great Spring Break!
