Weekend Wrap-Up

We had a great weekend.  Started off Friday night with a track meet for Kase and Kylee.  It was such a beautiful night and they had fun! Kase ran the 50 and the 100 and also the 4 x 100 and did the softball throw.  He has an ingrown toenail that is really bothering him so I'm proud he toughed it out and gave it his best.  Kylee ran the mile and did awesome considering she hasn't been training at all. Kael came after his own track practice to cheer them on then we all had dinner at our favorite post-race spot Leaning Tower.

Friday night Kylee had a friend stay over then Saturday morning it was off to the ball fields.  Kael had work. 

Kase hit an inside the park home run and he was SO happy about it! I was really proud of him.  My parents were there and got to see it too so that was fun.

His team played well and they went 1-1 for the day.

We were all pretty wiped from the heat and wind when we got home.  Kase relaxed for quite awhile. Kylee had a friend over and Kent set up the volleyball net for them and Kael had some school work. Later that night more friends stopped by to chat and play speedball.

Sunday Kent and I went for a long walk, Kael had work and the rest of us went to Kase's baseball game. It was a tougher day for him pitching but he got another home run! It was a beautiful day out and we stopped for ice cream with friends on the way home. 

Kael went to the gym, Kase had a friend come play and Kylee laid out. We played a lot of speed ball in the backyard and later some friends picked up Mexican food and we had an impromptu get together and some more neighbor friends stopped down.  It was the perfect end to a busy weekend!
