Weekend Wrap-Up

My weekend got off to a fun start when my aunt texted that she was in town on Friday and invited me to join her and my mom for lunch.  I had the best time chatting with them.

Friday night Kent and I had dinner out while Kylee babysat and Kase hung out at a friends' house and had pizza. It was a nice night and I appreciated Kael being home and able to hang with Kase until Kent and I got back.

Saturday was a busy day! Kylee had a volleyball tournament and it was so nice that both sets of grandparents were able to come watch! Kase had a basketball tournament so Kent was there with him.  Kael had an all day church event and I am just so proud of him and happy he went.  Love that he is involved with our youth group!

I didn't get any good action shots of Kylee- they all turned out blurry, but she did get the chance to up ref for the first time ever and she loved it! Did a great job and looked very confident.

These girls get a little goofy after a long break between games.

Once again I'm super thankful for a team mom who takes photos since I can't always be at Kase's games! Also thankful for the dad who live streams them so I can watch!

Kent and Kase came home after the tournament and Kent was thrilled it was so nice out- he got to clean the garage! Kase, of course, rounded up some buddies and played baseball in the field. Later that night Kylee had a friend stay over.

Sunday we went to my parents' to celebrate Berkley's birthday! So great getting the fam all together and even got to see my grandpa Dean.

Later that day Kase and Kent had baseball camp and Kael had a class at church. Everyone was pretty exhausted (we had picked Kael up from church at midnight the night before and Kylee and her friend had stayed up until 4:00 AM that morning) so we had a lazy afternoon. Kase had a buddy come over after baseball camp, Kylee and I sat in the hot tub.  Later Kael and I played ping pong and after dinner all 5 of us went to DQ for some ice cream then came home to watch AFV.  It was the family night we all needed!
