It was a pretty good weekend around our place!
Kase got a fun belated birthday surprise delivery from a sweet friend.
He had some fun making flavored ice cubes.
And they have all been spending lots of time on the trampoline! Here Kase was posting an "I miss you" picture for his teacher. He hasn't been super excited about getting on the class Zooms, but occasionally he does like to get on to see all his friends.
We've spent a lot of time outdoors.
And even did a little work in the backyard! I dug out the hammock I bought in Mexico nearly 20 years ago and had Kent put it up under the deck. The kids have really enjoyed it and it makes a nice shady spot to relax or read a book.
We did our first of the season bike ride to Orange Leaf. I'm sure it is the first of many trips there this year!
And we did go to Pella. We were sad there was no Tulip Time, but the flowers were just picture perfect and the kids had fun walking around Central's campus too.
Kent did even more work in the backyard- he set up the tent and even put up LED lights in it! We spent the night out there Friday and surprised ourselves by lasting outside all night!
Saturday night we had a bonfire and s'mores.
Sunday we had a nice day. We rode bikes to stop by Keith and Cindy's house. Can you spy Kase in the trees?
