Weekend Wrap-Up

We summer HARD around here, folks.  And we love every second of it.

Last week Kase joined some cousins at the zoo.  I had some running around to do with Kylee and Kael so I was really thankful he could have a fun morning out and about!

Later we got to see my niece's recital rehearsal.  She did a great job and it was so sweet seeing all the cousins out there to support her!

We spent some time at pools, where the kids always seem to run into a crew of friends.

And one afternoon we got to visit the Vogels lemonade stand!

A little more pool time. Loving the fact we are within bike riding distance to the old pool and that my kids are fine there alone for a bit if I need to leave to drop Kael off somewhere.

Thursday night Kent had a customer appreciation thing at the I Cubs.  Kase got to take a friend along and they had so much fun! Meanwhile, Kael was at basketball camp and Kylee was at triathlon practice.

Friday morning- another quick stop at the Simms lemonade stand! So fun!

Then off to Adventureland with our good friends.

Kael and Andrew rode The Monster for the first time this trip and they both loved it!

Kent and I enjoyed a date night while the boys stayed at my mom's house and Kylee was with her friend.

The next day after Kase's baseball game, he spent the day hanging with his good buddy down the street.

Then, the kids spent the night at Keith and Cindy's (and went to a movie and played at Miracle League) so Kent and I golfed again!

Sunday morning we loaded up the bikes, picked up the kids and went for a ride on the High Trestle! It was such a gorgeous morning and the kids rode 10 plus miles so well!

A picnic lunch halfway was just what we needed.

Then, a dip in the pool when we got back to town!

We wrapped up the weekend with a movie and Kael took us all for a drive around town.  He's getting so much more confident as a driver and we had such a fun night.  We have a short week ahead before we head to Edward Jones Regionals but I'm sure we are going to fit lots more fun in the next few days!
