Weekend Wrap-Up

This weekend.  It was just so, SO good.

Thursday night Kael had his chorus concert.  After much convincing, he finally agreed to letting me take a picture.  I can't get over how grown up he is.

Friday, Kylee's class went to The Nutcracker.  She was so excited and loved getting dressed up.  She really enjoyed seeing it and was so anxious to tell us all about it when she got home.

Friday was Kase's Christmas program day! He did such a nice job.  He stood there so nicely, knew all the actions and sang all the songs.  I was really proud of him. It just wouldn't be a Christmas program with Kase unless there were at least a few silly faces!

Saturday morning we went to my parents' house.  My mom and I tried to finish up gifts for the kids while Kent and my dad took the kids to see Santa at Bass Pro.

When they got back, we made Bonbons! Every year we make them with my dad.  Kylee had so much fun.

So did I.

Later that afternoon I went shopping with my Dad and Mom while Kent took the kids to the new Star Wars movie.

Sunday morning we woke up to -15 degree temps so we stayed inside alllll day.  (Of course Kase still doesn't have a shirt on even when it's that cold!) We played a lot of board games, watched some movies, wrapped some gifts.  Honestly it was one of my favorite days ever.

We had hot cocoa with marshmallow snowmen stir sticks.  And everyone was just happy all day long.

I'm feeling like we are pretty much ready for Christmas around here! I have a few last minute gifts to pick up and wrap, but Kase and I are done with school so I'll have some time to do that this week.  Looking forward to spending lots of time with friends and family over the next couple weeks!
