Yesterday morning, I had the opportunity to volunteer with Kael and his entire fifth grade class to package Meals from the Heartland. The kids had worked all year raising funds and ended up raising over $7000 so they got to pack the meals at their school!
The energy in the room was just so, so cool. The kids worked so hard and my heart was so full, hearing them encourage each other and cheer each other on as they packaged over 30,000 meals in just two hours!
Being a part of this has inspired me to get my kids serving and volunteering this summer!
