Weekend Wrap-Up

Friday night Kase went to a friend's birthday party at the hockey game.  Kael got home!!! We went for dinner with him and Kylee and Sean.  Love spending time with them all.  Came home and played games- so fun.

Saturday I spent a lot of the day packing and Kase played with friends the whole day.  Kent and Kael hung out, went for a walk and later Kael went to the gym and Kylee and Sean went out for dinner to celebrate their four month anniversary. 

Kent and I went to Greenbriar with his high school friends and wives and had the best time! We also really appreciated Kael being available to help Kase get dinner and to be here to supervise. He's just the best. 

Sunday the kids all overslept because of Daylight Savings so we watched church online.  Kase played with friends, Kylee got her nails done.  Kent and Kase went to the guitar store and shooting range while I finished up a few things around the house.  Keith and Cindy stopped by and later Tammy and Berkley stopped by to sell me a softball card too! Fun catching up and hearing about her party. Huston was here playing with Kase too so that was super fun. Later that night Kylee had an FCA event- so proud of her for getting up and speaking! Kent, Kase, Kael, Emma and I went for dinner- great to spend time with them.  

Now, ready for vacay!!

Thankful Thursday

I'm thankful Kent had a night out with his dad and brothers!

I'm thankful for Kase's friend group who all went to the basketball game together! I really appreciate the friend's mom taking them and the boys were excited to be in the suite! Jags won a close one!

I'm thankful for good friends and *hopefully* super fun 18th birthday plans coming up for these two besties!

 I'm thankful for ANOTHER snow day!!!

Weekend Wrap-Up

Friday night Kase had plans to go to a Wolves game with friends- he had a blast! Meanwhile we went to Sean's last high school basketball game.  It didn't end how they wanted but I think he is kinda glad the season is over.  We had fun supporting him all year! 

Saturday morning Kylee had an early, chilly long run.  The rest of us went to watch Kael throw at the conference meet at Wartburg.  I am so happy so many of us were there to support him including my parents, Kael's girlfriend and her parents!  Right away, Kael PR'd!!! He looked so strong and he's been working so hard.  He scratched the other times but he made it over 14  meters and SO many people came up to congratulate him afterwards! Love seeing him in his track world and just so, so happy for him and proud of him.  Go Kael!!!! He was thrilled his girlfriend brought him his favorite pizza too! Love her. 

Sunday Kael and Emma went to the Hawkeye women's basketball game with Keith and Cindy! So awesome of them to take them along! Looks like they had a great time. 

Kylee and Sean went to visit his grandma, Kent and I did errands and went for a walk and Kase played with friends.  It was a lovely Sunday afternoon!
