Weekend Wrap-Up

Whoops! It's been a minute.  Life got pretty busy at the end of summer.

We celebrated Kylee's birthday at the lake with her friends. Such a sweet group and so happy they got to spend one last weekend together before all heading separate ways for college!

When we got home she opened a few gifts from us. Always love celebrating our girl.

My people did the Fair this year. I can't even begin to tell you how many trips there were between all of us.  I think Kase hit the grandstand for concerts at least 4 times, plus they all went to Treaty Oak the weekend before the Fair.

Kylee was excited to show Carter what the Iowa State Fair is all about!

This crew went to the fair together twice for different concerts.

My guys.

Kase and KK at Riley Green.

This squat also hit Adventureland one last time.

Oh- and Kase got a new car! A Cadillac CT5. It's perfect for him.

We got Kylee girl all moved in.  She is LOVING life at Iowa. She's found a great group of friends and gets along so well with her roommate.

First day of school! Kylee (above- college freshman), Kase (below- high school freshman). Kael, not pictured.  He didn't send me a picture for his very last first day of school ever but that's ok.  He also seems to be having the time of his life at Central as a senior. He loves where he lives and is having a great time with all the guys.

Kent had a really fun I Cubs event last week that I got to tag along to.

And on Friday we took Kylee a couple things she wanted from home and we took her out for lunch.  She is happy.

Football and fall baseball aren't the most fun for Kase right now but he's hanging in there and continuing to work hard.  In the meantime he's having fun with friends at football games and all that good stuff.

Fall is rolling in the Patterson household and it feels good to be back to a bit of a routine even though it sure is a lot quieter at our house now!!!
