It's been awhile since I've posted anything!
Here's what we've been up to. Got another round of snow and Kase was so happy. He got home one night and couldn't wait to get outside and play basketball in the snow and then help me scoop.
Kase wrapped up his basketball season with another win and also got to play for the B team where he drained two 3's in a matter of a couple minutes and just played so well. I was really happy for him.
Kase and his friend decided at the last minute to do a Slopestyle competition at our local ski hill. They had watched one a couple weekends ago at Sundown and I'm so happy they decided to participate in this one!
Honestly it was such a cool event and fun being there late on a weeknight!
Everyone got 2 runs. Kase landed a 360 and also went all the way on the rails (each portion- jump/rails counted for 50% of your total score). Some participants were doing the craziest stunts! Flips and all sorts of things. SO cool to watch. They announced top 5 for a podium run and we were all so surprised and happy when Kase's name got called! Even though he hadn't done like a wild trick, the ones he did he landed cleanly which I guess got him the points he needed so that was cool!
Kylee has been keeping busy with friends, track starting and just general senior year stuff. Saturday night she ended up with a free night and we already had dinner reservations for 4 when Kase got invited to go somewhere so Kylee's good friend joined us. It was such a lovely night with the two of these beauties!
Meanwhile Kase was back at the slopes...until 1 AM!!! You guys- Kase is not a late night kid but when some friends were going to the special event night at Seven Oaks Kase went along and got home at 2 in the morning! He had a blast, of course.
Haven't seen much of Kael lately so Kent and I are really looking forward to Spring Break when we got to spend a whole week with him!!!
