Weekend Wrap-Up

Friday night Kase and friends went to Grandma Cindy's and Grandpa Keith's before the Jag game.  He had quite a squad there! Maybe 15 kids? Always thankful that they are willing to host the teenagers.

Saturday morning we nearly overslept (eek!!!!) but made it to Iowa City in time for Kase's 7-7 football tournament.  It was a 7th/8th grade tournament and our boys played great! We went 4-1 and lost to the 8th grade Jag team in the final (but we had beat them earlier in the day!) Kase played well and we enjoyed spending time with all the families. Meanwhile, Kylee had a long run and made her door sign for State! Later that day she hung out with Sean and Kase hung out with his friends.  Then Kylee went to a corn maze with her church group.

Sunday we had an interesting day! We were celebrating October birthdays at Keith and Cindy's when Kase cut his foot open on a stake holding down the jumpy house in the yard.  Kylee and Cindy were amazing in helping him out but in the end I needed to take him to Urgent Care for stitches.

(Quick baby snuggles before she had to go- she was having dinner with Sean and his family).

Poor buddy is going to be on crutches for at least a week but he handled his stitches so well!

Well, a crazy weekend around here as usual but looking forward to a great week ahead!
